Della Terra Restaurant

Overall, an excellent dining experience. Returned with friends twice within the month of the first visit. The menu is amazing, the chef is extremely creative. Table side Caesar to die for! Unfortunately, a much too tightly kept secret to locals. Need more advertising!

I had to meet some people for lunch downtown today and one of my companions suggested Della Terra. I'm glad she did! We had a beautiful meal right by the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the terrace. It was a front row seat for the snow storm that was blowing in. I felt like I was in New York at the Sea Grill. The food was fabulous. Great burgers, delicious and different ahi tuna salad and the best sweet potato fries around. The ambience and food were so extraordinary that I could've easily spent the afternoon there. I can't wait to go back for dinner!

Five stars isn't enough for how decadent our meal was this past Saturday at Della Terra. Let me begin with how friendly, helpful and knowledgable the young women who was helping us was ... you want your restaurant to succeed? Find the young brunette and hire her!! She was lovely. Our meal and drinks were just was wonderful. We began with a glass of wine and a pineapple upside down martini... mmmm ( and, they were generous on the liquor!). We then enjoyed their surf n turf special( which we were informed the crab was fresh from Alaska that day -It was like no other crab I had ever tasted) and the pork special. The meat was tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Upon our first bites, the chef came out to ask us how our food tasted - I wish he could have come out when I finished because I was in my glory!!! It seems that Della Terra has had its bad days and is really trying to turn their food and their reputation around. I recommend that you give it a try for your next special occasion!

Delicious Food (Pumpkin and Sage Raviolis w/ Walnuts and Cranberries in Made ria Sauce) Grateful for such pleasant dining in the hotel.
