Looking to get an etching on a headstone. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

We asked to see what 2 of their stone options would look like. They said they would send a picture of what they would look like so we could choose between the 2 templates. They said it would take 6-8 weeks for the templates to arrive. EIGHT MONTHS later, we receive a piece of mail from the company. Inside, 2 of the exact same design with the same product number at the bottom of the sheet. Now the deceased’s family is to choose from 2 of the same choice after months of waiting for a measly printed png with a name and dates typed out. Frankly disrespectful. I wish I could give 0 or negative stars.

I ordered an updated date to my MIL’s stone in 7/19/2021, payment received by them 7/31/2021. When I called to check the status of the work I was advised “it’s near the end of their season and it won’t be completed until 2022.” After some general searches to see the timeline for a date to be added in areas with winter the general consensus is 30-60 days. This delay is very frustrating and was NOT communicated until I asked. Nowhere on the contract is it noted that there are such huge delays, nor did it indicate it would be done next year. Essentially it’s an interest-free loan to them. The woman in the phone had zero compassion and was in a rush to get off the phone. While we don’t live there still our families do. We will not recommend Stone Art Memorial and will share our poor experience.
