I wish I could give a lower rating. Mindy and her assistant Wendy handle most or not all of the adoptions through the county. I adopted my grandsons in 2017. One of their birth certificates were wrong. I called the law office immediately and let them know about the mistake. I was told to bring in the incorrect birth certificate. Wendy told me she wasn't exactly sure what to do this never happened before. For two years they strung me along. Telling me how they were working on it. I just called Albany they told me  exactly what to do in ten minutes. I am so disgusted with the way they treated me. Adoptive parents beware if you can use a different attorney/law office it would be in your best interest.

Ms. Marranca is never available to answer questions and does not return calls, emails, or texts.  In addition to being repeatedly late for court appearances, she made very detrimental decisions on my matter and never even bothered to discuss them with me.  She lied and fabricated evidence, which in my opinion should be a crime for an attorney.  She needs to be disbarred for her unethical conduct and practices.
