Very rude & pretentious.
I walked in to buy cider beer they abruptly cut me to say, We dont sell beer on tap. I was pointing at the cans, thats in the front on their store by the POS. They prejudged me, assuming that I didnt know anything about wine, spirits, beers, & liquor.
Wheres the customer service? Im a repeated customer. Make some kindness for a neighbor.
I love to support local businesses, but workers here are down right rude.

The staff at Winey is super knowledgeable and provides great recommendations. I was a relative newbie to natural wines but because of some key Winey recs, I'm hooked on them now! I really love that they keep their emails and website up to date so I can easily browse from home. Definitely my go-to spot in BK!

Such a great wine shop! Chris and Sal helped me out with several selections for my wedding weekend, and they did not disappoint. Winey Neighbor has an excellent range of wine-- from classics to more eclectic options-- to fit an array of tastes. Strong recommend!

without a doubt my neighborhood wine go to. the team is super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, and during the highs and lows of the pandemic, visiting winey has been a bright spot, like going to see old friends. like the rest of brooklyn, I am all in on the orange wine train, and the selection here is A+. really they put other shops to shame! everything from the palest peach to rich ambers, a whole range from easy drinking to super funk, and ALWAYS rolling in new bottles so I can try something different. I've never gone wrong on any bottle, red, white, orange, or rose, either in pulling something quickly for myself or even better when relying on the winey crew to guide me towards something special. in fact go in with a general idea of what you want, lay it out to them, and let them bring something to you. you'll be so happy for the new adventure, and you'll definitely be coming back for more.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST! I make it a priority to stop when I'm in town! I make a monthly trip to Crown Heights to visit my aunt and the first thing I do is stop here for a bottle of wine for her and snag something for me when I visit friends in the area. I tend to ask a lot of questions and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to help. It's because of them that I got turned on to quality mezcal and one of the gentlemen working there went as far as to take the time and write down several cocktail recipes he recommended. I can't say enough good things about this place. If I have to say one critical thing it's that they don't have more locations, but honestly that's part of the charm. All in all, if you're looking for a good selection with a staff that is top tier then this is your place.
