I'm so happy I worked with Matt! Standardized tests have never come naturally to me, especially the math part, and I entered the process with a lot of doubts about whether I'd be able to achieve the score I wanted. But I was determined to get into the business school of my dreams, and I knew that finding the right tutor was a big part of making my dream a reality. From the very beginning, Matt's expertise and intuitive teaching skills put me at ease. He has a way of teaching the GRE that makes the concepts and strategies stick, and his friendly, patient demeanor made me feel comfortable asking any questions I had. I always felt challenged but never overwhelmed. Week-by-week, I saw my performance improving, and it all came together on test day! Matt and the entire GRE Compass team were incredible. I started with a 161 in Quant, and came to them with the goal of scoring 165 or above. I ended up hitting a 168! Since Erfun was booked, he set me up with Denis, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Matt is an experienced educator who is obviously passionate about and committed to his craft. He taught the content in a really intuitive way, tailoring everything to my needs and drafting HW assignments that laid out exactly what I should do DAY-BY-DAY. This made the studying process much simpler. On top of all that, Matt is just a warm and personable guy, and this helped a lot in making me feel comfortable w/ our sessions. Overall, I highly recommend him!

Big thank you to Matt Douglas for helping me land a dream GRE score and get into a top business school. We worked together over 8 weeks, with an emphasis on Quant strategies and Reading Comprehension. With his help, I scored 163 in Quant and 162 in Verbal. Matt was patient, direct, communicative, and a fantastic tutor. Everything was customized to my situation, from the structure of the sessions to detailed homework assignments targeting exactly what I needed to improve. I'd actually worked with another company based in NYC for my original prep, and, while they knew math, they didn't really know the GRE. They didn't use the write books, taught concepts that weren't relevant, and overlooked important question types on the exams. Matt is a GRE expert, and it showed. I highly recommend working with him if you're stalling in your prep and need to move to the next level!

It was such a pleasure to work with Erfun! I worked with two other tutors before him, and both could not push me to get a top score the way Erfun did. Before I started working with Erfun, I was scoring 160 on verbal and 151 on quant. My final verbal score and quant score were each 165! I could not have increased my quant score so significantly without Erfun's persistence and willingness to continue working with me until I achieved the scores that I wanted. While he has a vast array of materials and practice questions to work on, Erfun's high expectations for his students is what got my scores to where they needed to be. He holds his students accountable for putting in the work and consistent practice, which got me to that higher level I couldn't reach without him. I highly recommend working with Erfun! You won't regret it.
