Based on my experience of over seven years (and counting) here, I can confidently say that Mustard Seed Center is a wonderful tutoring center! If you send your children here, you can ensure that their experiences will be unique and catered to their individual needs. The teachers here, such as the very helpful owner, Mr. Ron, are very professional, strict (in the best way possible), passionate, and will never hesitate to help a student in need. The curriculums are very well planned, and if a child is ever confused with the material, teachers are always patient and will take the time to answer their questions. They will also provide students with extra practice, whenever necessary. If there is ever a case where the child is in need of even more help, parents can speak to one of the staff members, such as Mrs. Lee, who is extremely caring and will treat your kids like her own, and they will usually be allowed to stay and receive instruction for extra hours, or even just for assistance with homework. Many students, myself included, have found happiness and great results, while studying here. I highly recommend enrolling your children here.

I've been there since I was in third grade(2008?), back when MSC was located in another block, stopped coming once I got into middle school. I'm in college now, so I don't know if I'm eligible to write a review. Overall, my experience was pretty good. Not only were there actual things taught, they'd provide us with activities like ping pong and "free time", which I enjoyed. Summer programs were okay too, but I remember reading the same problems every year. It's 2020 now, so I'm pretty sure a lot has changed.

I like that they help improve children’s educational point of view by teaching them things they will be learning and/or teaching them new things to prepare for the next grade. The teachers are excellent.

Coming from a former employee who worked here, I can say that it is a pretty average tutoring center. I worked there for a few months in high school. I was referred there by a friend who worked there for a long time. He told me that they pay well so I went for an interview and got the job. I heard they paid around $10/hr for people who just started working there for a 3-5 hour shift. But they always make me stay till around 6 when the kids are dismissed. So for 3 hours a day I received $20 daily which basically makes the hourly wage around $7. These learning centers take a lot of money from their expensive tuition and are paying the few tutors that they have way less than minimum wage in which they should get reported for. After a few months, I got so sick and tired of working there because the old Asian lady who owns the place is always pushing me around and telling me how to teach the kids when she can barely speak a word of English. Therefore, you can send your kids there if you want but if you’re a student looking for a part-time job, there are better places with better benefits and management to go for than this place.
