Lovely restaurant with delicious sushi. Service can be slow if it's busy as there is only one sushi chef but it's worth the wait. They have an unbelievable deal on the kid's menu and are reasonably kid-friendly (although they do not have high chairs).

A small intimate sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. The place is literally a few steps from my home so I had the try it, especially since some of the reviews here were pretty glowing. The place is small and intimate, homey. I had the toro tarter and the monk fish karaage appetizers. Following with a sashimi Omakase. The monk fish was fried in batter. I thought It was ok. The fish felt fresh but the batter somewhat under fried. The $20 toro tartar was pretty small and underwhelming. The sashimi felt very fresh, especially the otoro tuna. All in all I would probably skip the appetizers next time, and try more of sushi offerings if I would go back

The edamame is delicious. It's a bit spicy and done to perfection, some of the best I've had. While not the same as some of the high-end sushi places in Manhattan, the sushi is well above what you'd expect from a local neighborhood place.

probably the best sushi restaurant Ive been to ever, sit at the bar, order everything, chat with Taiki or ask the waiter about his cat, just go enjoy
