Modell's Sporting Goods

I don't want to kick a company that's down and on their way out (Modells recently declared closing down) but this location has never been friendly or have good customer service. There are a few employees who are nice but the majority are very sour. The worst Modell's in NYC even worse than the Church Ave location. Sad to see the company go down but some locations needed to shut down.

Horrible customer service! Wanted to change the size of shorts. When I called them they said if you have a receipt,no problem. Okay. I went to the store they said that they cannot switch even if I have the receipt. What? Why did I go there?

Had a going out of business sale and got some wonderful purchases for cheap prices. The associated were helpful and service was fast.

Bad experience No refund no return no fitting room I got a T-shirt with my size which is large and when I tried it at home The size looks like xxl and I went there to get medium size the manager refused to do it and it was careless
