        Alex is absolutely amazing. I needed a zipper replaced on a reversible down jacket, and he looked online, went to the fashion district in Manhattan, and then ordered the perfect one from Europe - all while keeping me updated the whole time. He is completely dedicated to his craft, and I would recommend him to any and everyone who needs their shoes, boots or zippers repaired.

        Love this gem of a place. I am always receiving consistent quality of matierials, skill and professionalism. From the most simplest of repairs like reheeling, (the heels are not the plastic cheap kind, these are made from steong rubber they grip the floor and are quiet when I walk. I dont feel that they will slip out from under me.) new soles, or adding taps to the most complex work such as stripping the patent material from leather italian boots to dyeing a new color onto suede ones. All repairs have lasted at least 5 years, and at a very reasonable price!!!!

        I dropped off a pair of boots three and a half months ago. They had to be resoled. I have been back at least 6 times. The first and second times I was told they were not ready yet. Thereafter, I was advised they were in storage, they were yet to be found in the shop or some other flimsy excuse. Beware.
