If we have time to complain we have time to compliment! This garage is, without a doubt, the best sanitation garage in the city (alright maybe just Brooklyn). Scheduled a bulk pickup through 311 and followed instructions completely. The pickups were canceled due to snow two weeks in a row, the third week was a holiday (Monday is our bulk pickup) so it took me four weeks to finally purge my unwanted LARGE furniture. My appointment was approved and I was prepared. Placed my items out the day before after 4 as is the policy. Wrapped smaller bulk together with tape and organized it on the curb. Next day, scheduled pickup day, nothing. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday items still at curb. Landlord was worried she’d get a ticket and laid into me. 311 told me I needed to “reschedule and bring the items back in”!!! WHAT? “Impossible”I told my very “friendly” agent, “I’ve moved. Im not there to carry the items back inside”. After some heated back and forth, the agent abruptly put me on hold and left me there! So I did some research (it’s easy), found our sanitation garage and called them directly (yes you can and should do that). My items were picked up just a few hours later. So SHOUT OUT TO YOU DEE and the team at BK6. Much appreciation!
