Very good penne pomodoro (sp?) Not on menu but it's the best bang for buck, and it is actually a great sauce. Unlike other sauces which are average, and the pizza that is unremarkable.

Food was amazing we had from the chicken parmesian, stuffed ravioli, chicken in wine sauce, veal marsala, shrimp, steak wow it was all amazing. This review does not concern the food. I had planned to have a relaxed meal with my kids. The waiter was very kind, took my stroller, showed us in. The waitress seemed to have an issue about us being there. After we sat, I asked her to please take away the cristal glasses. She answered in a rather peremptory that the waiter was going to take care of it. Then she proceeded to take away the bottle of mineral water that was in the table, which I wanted. When she returned, I asked again if she could please take away the glasses. She answered in strained voice that she had heard me and that yes, she was going to take away the glasses. Her attitude and body language were anything but welcoming. In all my years in Park Slope I have never faced such a situation. Naturally, I choose to leave.

I looked all over Park Slope and Bay Ridge for a restaurant that could hold 45 people for my mom's 90th birthday party. After several false starts at other places that I was more familiar with, I ended up booking the back-room at Tutta Pasta without ever having tasted the food (I live in PA). Martino was extremely helpful in working with me to arrange the (buffet) menu, and ensure that the party went off smoothly. Everything was perfect! The variety of dishes had something for everyone (salad barese, antipasto salad, grilled calamari, baked clams, spinach ravioli, meatballs, grilled salmon, veal valdostana) and the clams, calamari, meatballs, ravioli, and veal received great reviews from our guests (everything tasted hand-made, all of the sauces were great, but I'd say the veal was my favorite). The wait staff was very attentive, and every request was quickly delivered. We couldn't have made a better choice of venue, and I'll be sure to drop by for pizza or dinner when I'm back in Brooklyn.
