Food is good but not spectacular for the price. Service was good. But the outdoor seating needs some bug lights because when I came in the summer I was an all you can eat buffet for the Mosquitos.

A more refined version of Korean than usual, you won't get enormous portions and a tableful of banchan, but everything will be made with care and better ingredients. Given the location and technical expertise, I think this justifies the slightly higher prices. Great spot for the neighborhood.

Super mixed feelings about the dinner I had at Moim a couple of nights ago. I'll start from the beginning. I've never had non vegetarian Korean cuisine so I was excited to try this place for the first time, as the friend who dined with me told me she had a great experience there. So I walked in, the decor was modern, sleek and very pleasing to the eyes. It was 5:45 so it was vastly empty and the waiter told us we can sit wherever we'd like. So we sat down and he brought us menus right away. My friend pointed out all the dishes she liked on the menu and we chose two apps and two mains and a couple of drinks. The waiter came back and took our drink order first. I ordered a glass of wine and she, a martini. When your restaurant is empty there is absolutely no reason for a martini to be sitting on the counter for roughly 5 minutes before serving it to the patron. No reason at all. But that's what happened. I thought of going over to the counter and just taking it to my table but figured I'd wait it out. Finally he brings the wine, and then a couple minutes after the martini. He takes our food order. We ordered Tacos, Spicy wings, Bi bim bob, and Whole Bronzini. It took about 20 minutes or so for the tacos to come out, which I felt was way too long. We should have had it maximum 10 minutes later. And then it took another few minutes until the spicy wings came out. Both of these dishes, if I were to make them at home would take me way less than the time it took them. (Again, empty restaurant). I have no complaints about the taste. OMG, I actually have compliments. Those tacos were insane! Like, I've never ever had such amazing, tasty, pure goodness. Beef, topped with cilantro and guacamole and cheese for my friend! Absolutely amazing! The spicy wings were fabulous. Super spicy, exactly how I imagined them to be. The mains came out together. (Great) My first time having beef bi bim bob! Ahhhh --- I will be having so many more of those "Meals in a bowl" I wish every restaurant made a bronzini like they did. The flavors, texture, sauces, spices -- Pure Perfection! I'm so happy I did get to taste their foods because I was super impressed with the cuisine and the dishes. But I think service (Which is a huge factor in my reviews) could have been better. I do plan on going back again -- though not sure how soon. But those tacos yo! They're a must.
