They never answer when you try and contact them. Have "handymen" working after hours making noise and when you ask if they're going to be much long the guy threatens you. They do everything illegally, a bunch of crooks

The worst management company I’ve ever worked with in 6 years living in New York. Good luck if you have an emergency like when the roof in our building failed and my apartment flooded. I was told “someone will call you back at some point” - took three days for a response from them and got 0 help. The resulting mold was simply painted over and deemed good enough. When we moved out it took 3x the legal limit to get our security deposit back and that happened only after threatening legal action. The staff are rude and unhelpful and they lie about what they will help you with and what emails and calls they’ve received.

I never write reviews, but I felt the need to write this just give how horrible this company is. NBM was by far the worst management company I’ve ever dealt with. The apartment was given to us in complete filth which we had to repaint and do a deep cleaning. Our toilet was leaking when we got there and it took them OVER a MONTH to respond saying, “hey is your toilet still leaking?”. I had a package stolen from me and I asked to look at the camera footage (which is right in front of the mailboxes) and it took them weeks to respond to me, only to tell me that the camera doesn’t work. Aside from that, I moved out in August and JUST received my security deposit back (it’s now December) and the only reason we received it was because we threatened to take legal action. This company will lie, avoid you and try to take advantage of you in any way possible. Good luck to any one dealing with this management company.
