Excellent service, small menu but always well prepared Roman dishes. Excellent wine recommendations at a very fair price.

The only reason I am not giving this place a higher rate, is because of our waiter. It's too bad I don't remember his name, but he is a middle size-kind of chubby-Hispanic looking man. He was extremely unfriendly, looked bothered whenever we asked for more water or soda and what upset me the most was the looks he kept giving my child almost as if he was annoyed by the fact that we had dared bring a kid to the restaurant. If they don't like children they should have a sign that says "No children please''. The only reason I didn't say anything there, was because I was having a really good time with family members I hadn't seen in a long time, and I wasn't going to let him ruin the moment, so I decided to ignore it. But I have been bothered by this and now wish I had said something to him. I know it's not OK, but I considered not tipping him. It was then when I found out they had charged our bill 25 extra dollars for gratuity. WHAT? we were only a table of four (6 if you include 2 children under 2). I dont see why the had to charge so much. I hope the owner or manager has a talk with him and makes him understand that he needs to treat people with respect and at least smile every once in a while. Definitely dont go there if you are planing on going with kids or at least dont let this man serve you!

I like to go for the spaghetti with a generous scoop of burrata. The service is slow, but if you don't mind waiting, it's worth it. I also like the wood fired pizza, which is what they're known for. They're good to split if you aren't super hungry, which is a tough thing to find in a sit down restaurant. Try the homemade gnocchi, too! Sit at a table; the booth along the edge of the bar is too high to eat comfortably.

Had a fantastic time at this place. Wine was delicious and food was on par if not better than what I had my first time in Rome. Definitely plan on coming back.
