i ordered a pair of high index glasses with transitions and ar coating i paid top dollar $450 bucks ...i got sick and was hospitalized for a while when i came to pick up my glasses they had sold my frames and put my lenses into a drawer ..they gave me a replacement frame. when i tried on the glasses none of the features i paid for were on my lenses when i told the doc what happened he kept telling me to come back on a sunny day you would think they had a uv machine so he could see if the transitions worked i i i went back 5 times and every time it wasnt sunny enough needless to say i was robbed for the extra $2oo i paid AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!! they recently moved across the street and changed the name of the store METRO STYLE OPTICAL...same staff different name.

I must say @ first I was kind of debating whether to use this optical store. Some of my coworkers didn't give a good report. As I was cleaning out my desk draw, I came Across my union voucher and realized The due date was that day. Since they was in walking distance my job, I went on my lunch hour. Very friendly, answered my many questions lol. Did exams & pick out my glasses, said it would take about two weeks. Well when I go to work the next day, received phone call to come pick up both glasses. Love the fact they knew me by name when I walked back in... I think I found another place to get glasses

wack! I went in with 300 bucks in my pocket ready to buy a pair of frames and have my old prescription taken out from my old glasses and put into a new set of frames. The lady asked if I had insurance and I said no, so she said "the glasses in this case start at 100 and over there" (pointing to somewhere on the other side of the room, "are the designer glasses, then just kept talking to her co-worker. I looked in the 100 dollar case and didn't see anything and the lady didn't even bother to ask If I wanted to see anything. The I walked to the other side of the room and the so called case that had the "designer" glasses was not marked so I couldn't tell which ones they were. I looked up all confused and ish and the lady just gave me a quick glance and kept talking to her friend as if I wasn't important enough for her to stop and ask if I needed help. Needless to say I walked out and now I'm waiting for my day off so I can look somewhere else. New Yorkers are busy people so I don't have time for people that don't have time for me. I also work hard for my money and I'm not just gonna give it away to some company just cuz....Customer Service is Everything...
