This school is a gem. It is a true community. The teachers put their hearts and soul into their job to teach children and provide a nurturing environment. My son started there at 3 years old and we did not even bother looking at schools for elementary. Even with the virus, they transitioned to an online learning environment in a way that was engaging and academically challenging.

I myself have graduated there, and the school is amazing and a real true gift to the child. I think if it weren’t for Montessori I wouldn’t be the person that I am today. Because of Montessori I am able to study more efficiently and learn different subjects in a more openly matter. Like for example I would ask my teacher if I didn’t understand something, and my teacher will gladly explain to me. So that is a way of openly learning something because I’m not just processing information inside of class, but also outside of class. And I was taught not only to get sources from the book, but also from different websites and articles in the internet and how to balance between which source is right and wrong. One way I studied at home was by not memorizing but understanding why is one thing the way it is. The way we studied in Montessori was by understanding why thing are the way they are. For example why did the civil war started at this time of the year or why does Force equals to Mass times Acceleration. Simple things like that that creates a big difference in a child’s life and future. So if you have a small child and you really want him or her to get the best education with a nurturing environment, Windmill Montessori is the best place. Knowledge may be free every where, but how you will take it and how you will use it in the future will always come with a price.
