Food was just okay...Don't even remember what I got. I do remember loving the margaritas though. And the chef personally came to the table asking us what we want for dessert and we said banana foster and he came back with a plate drenched in rum. rum, brown sugar, and bananas on fire. Got drunk off dessert and the mediocre food was forgiven

Grabbed some lunch take-out while doing some errands Ordered chicken tostadas and a chorizo taco. Tostadas were much larger than I expected - a pretty solid meal for $8 - so I only ended up eating one. I don't normally order tostadas, and was surprised at how good they were - had a subtle spicy kick, crunchy tortilla, not too much tasty cheese. The Taco was amazing, best i've had in the slope so far (still exploring!). It's a proper soft corn tortilla taco, similar to one of my favorite places in manhattan. Meat was tender, tasty, not too much sauce, toppings were really good. It's a solidly family run place, and they have recently been making changes to improve. I think they are actively working on stepping up their service. Overall, a clear notch above others in the modern style and taste, while less expensive than powerhouses like Fonda. If you haven't been in a while try again - I bet it's improved.

I was worried about this restaurant based on the few reviews that I read before coming to dinner but I was incredibly impressed with the atmosphere, decor, and the extremely delicious food. Pricing was reasonable for this area of Park Slope. This is a easy recommendation for anyone looking for some Mexican cuisine at a reasonable price.

I primarily picked Piramide because it looked like a fun place and I wasn't disappointed. It was early on a Friday night, but already, the place was hopping. And, they put mustaches on their signage, which is pretty funny. One thing I loved: GUACAMOLE Sadly, quite a few things disappointed me: the beers were warm the pork chops were terrible (seasoning, level of preparedness) the salsa was meh, it was more like a sauce But, the staff was friendly, just not friendly enough for me to return.
