Rarely leave bad reviews but the food was really underwhelming. The tasting menu has nothing to do with Mexico, it included a burrata and some terrible pasta. We also had some random chicken wings and fried fish. After 3 dishes me and my boyfriend felt sick and barely made it through. Also their decomposed drinks are a terrible ideas., they sound fancy but they are basically straight shots of tequila/mezcal do yourself a favor and stay away.

We enjoyed the food, but we had a reservation at 6:00pm, and were told at the beginning that we had two hours at the table. Throughout our dinner, we were told to leave soon, way before 8:00pm (4 times we were asked to leave, and when we clarified that we had until 8:00, the staff blamed their booking system). We felt rushed and didnt enjoy the atmosphere. The staffs attitude soured the experience, especially after spending so much money.

My new favorite restaurant in the city! Had an amazing dinner here with a large group. The tasting menu was so worth it and we got to try so many different types of foods. Every bite was incredible but a few of my favorites was the duck, fish tacos, and fois gras. The cocktails are super innovative and delicious too.
Where Xixa goes above and beyond is the SERVICE! I have a few dietary restrictions and they were super accommodating. They provided substitutes from the tasting menu to supplement the original dishes and they also skewed the menu a little in the direction ahead of time. I've never received that level of service before and the staff were just so nice and attentive. Thank you!!
