Good food. I went in the summer after playing basketball nearby. A nice place to sit down with colored glass in the windows. It sometimes gets busy during brunch time. A pleasant spot to sit and catch up with friends.

So last Sunday I desperately wanted to try Five Leaves but the wait was too long, we were starving and I’m 99% sure the “host” taking names didn’t write anything down so we moved across the street to Lokal out of desperation and near starvation. (*Despite this I still really want to try Five Leaves. Once I went there to get coffee and was 50 cents short and the guy was very nice and gave it to me. So they win) At first I was charmed by their bowl of Halloween candy but the happiness was short lived… We were seated and all immediately placed our order and got some coffee. I basically inhaled my coffee as I do and I had to then stare down our waiter for a good ten minutes for a refill. I then realized I wanted a side of toast so I put in that request…What felt like a million years later our meals were placed in front of us. My friends both ordered eggs benedict and I got the “white spinach omelette” (no I’m not racist this is the name jerks). no toast. The omelette was delish but I still wanted to punch our absent minded waiter. I mean dude it’s a Sunday morning - I’m still tired and probably hungover - please don’t mess with me. Overall I give it an “eh” - probably won’t be returning any time soon. t.

The salmon bagel lox was a delight. The boss & the barman are cool. The waitress was a bit on a hurry, thus less sympathic, but they do great job. Smoothies are delicious too. Good adress, not too expensive
