COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I made an order with JAS on a Tuesday and was supposed to get delivery the next day. I explained to Sam, the owner, that I would write him a postdated check for Monday, since our rent and utilities were due on Thursday. The order was small, and it was something I could have paid for by cash, but he was ok with the check, and assured me the order would be delivered the next day. I pay for everything by check or credit card when I make purchases for my restaurant. The next day there was no delivery whatsoever. I called and called JAS and got through to nobody. I ended up purchasing from Restaurant Depot instead. Today, I called Sam again and he said they wouldn't fulfill the order since it wasn't in cash. I told him it was very unprofessional to not inform me, to which he said he called me Thursday, which makes no difference since it's after the fact. I, in fact, received no phone call from him Thursday. He said that he didn't want to deliver to somebody who had "no money", which was very insulting. I explained to him that we were introducing a new product and can handle a bigger quantity when it is established. I have 64 seats in my restaurant and can easily handle the quantity that he feels comfortable in supplying, but don't want to rush into a new product. He was extremely rude on the phone at that point, and abruptly hung up after saying "WHEN YOU WANT TO PLACE A BIG ORDER CALL ME GOODBYE". These business practices are rude and completely unprofessional. Do not deal with JAS, they are simply not reliable.
