Service is okay. They are not on East 16th and Ave U. They moved to Neck Rd and E. 14th St. with Empire Car and Limo. Service.

My review is about an experience I had in September which made me very upset and angry at the time. Luckily I don't held grudges but felt compelled to write this review today after a triggering conversation with a friend... I don't take car service often. Less than a handful of times a year. In September, I was heading out to JFK airport and had no one drive me there. Instead of calling an Uber, I decided to support my local business. I called safeway 3 days ahead of my departure date to confirm the time. They told me they got it and no need to confirm. I confirmed the morning of my flight anyway. All was well... it seemed. I came out of my house with my luggage about 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. In the past, safeway's cars would always arrive a few minutes before schedule. No such luck this time. It's now 5 minutes past my schedule time. Still no car so I call safeway. The operator tells me "oops, sorry, the driver that's supposed to pick you up is on his way back from JFK. It will be another 20-30 minutes." I said forget about it and called an uber which arrived in 2 minutes. Well, thank you very much, local car service. You wonder why uber and lyft are taking away your customers? This is a great example!
