Stepping Stones Nursery School

Excellent nursery school having a stellar reputation in Bay Ridge that is well earned. We have sent two of our children here and found the experience to be above our expectations. The school has gone out of their way to accommodate individual needs and provide unmatched flexibility. We like the daily reports, the frequent communication, responsiveness, and organized, well thought out curriculum. Stepping Stones has been an important part of our family for several years now and we highly recommend the school to our friends and neighbors.

I would recommend Stepping Stones to anyone. After touring all of the day care facilities in Bay Ridge, it became 100% clear to us that Stepping Stones was the absolute best place for our 2 year old son. The staff is incredible. Our son adores Miss Dana, Miss Veronica and Miss Tiffany! The curriculum is enriching and varied and the location is great. Don't waste your time looking for other options. Stepping Stones will be an excellent place for your little one to grow and learn (and the price is quite affordable).

Without a doubt the BEST nursery school in bay ridge. The best decision Ive ever made was to send my son to stepping stones. So grateful to have such hard working teachers and staff teaching him and helping him grow in the most amazing ways!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stepping Stones. My daughter started there when she was 2 years old. She is now 4 and has really flourished. She has learned so much academically but also socially. The owners, administrators and teachers are all amazing. I always knew my little girl was well taken care of and safe. During the pandemic they transitioned to zoom classes and did a fabulous job. They also opened for day camp and although I was a bit conflicted about sending my little one there with Covid-19 concerns, I decided to enroll her. I couldnt see her being cooped-up at home all summer and I had every confidence that Stepping Stones would provide a safe environment for the kids. Im so glad I did. My daughter is having the best time at camp and they have every safety measure in place. Stepping Stones is more than a school, its a family.

I do not know where to begin . Anytime anyone that knows my son sees him today they say wow he is such a different child than a year ago . Less than one year ago my son screamed at the site of people , would not leave my side for a second, barely put two words together and had absolutely no social skills . We put him in Stepping Stones to help him grow and I thank God everyday I did . This school has saved my son. He loves to speak to people , play with other kids , has started speaking better than I could have ever imagined and knows so much and I know its because of the love, nuturing, education and direction he gets from his teachers Jillian and Donna. Not only are his teachers amazing, every single person who works there treats my son better than I could have ever imagined. It was the best decision we have ever made. I am so thankful for them truly caring for my son and their sincere desire to watch these children grow. It is managed better than any school I have ever seen. I tell everyone I know .
