Fushimi Bay Ridge

The food was delicious (Fushimi salad, pork gyoza, yellowtail sushi). On a Saturday night, expect a crowded restaurant, loud music, and wait time between courses. I understand the lunchtime experience is peaceful and economical. I'll plan to go back for that!

FushimiI am local resident and have been going to your restaurant for a long time. Service and food are always on point. Except for last time I went with my husband. We asked for a Jack and Ginger and all we got was ginger ale with a splash of whiskey! I told my waitress that this tasted like soda and then proceeded to fill my glasses with more whiskey was still eh but better. Then we asked for another thinking it would be right this time around and it was better but not what youd except to get. Now, Im not an alcoholic lol I just know what a drink should taste like. Our apps took an hour to reach our table for some reason which is odd because food is always fast here. Now, we get our bill. We got charged for EVERYTHING! Not one item on the house for the kitchen taking an hour to get our apps and for our drinks being soda. We were charged $20.00 for our first two drinks and $30.00 for the other!? Im sorry what? The waitress then tells me if you want your drinks stronger its a $5.00 up charge! Lol I couldnt believe what I was hearing! Even our neighbors complained that his drinks were like water so it wasnt just us. I gave them 4 starts because maybe they had an off day and we all deserve a pass but 5 starts absolutely not! Make the drinks the way they should be made and pay for attention to your orders so this doesnt happen again. We were very upset but what can we do.

Came here for lunch and the food was ok but we basically didnt have a waiter/waitress and were left sitting without half of our dishes and no water for 20 minute intervals just looking for someone to come by. Random employees would help when I saw one to desperately grab the attention of. Pretty disappointing experience, which is a shame because the food was decent but the service was so bad and negligent!
