This is the worst store for buying furniture! Bought a very expensive leather cough here less than a year ago. Was told and promised that it was leather. A few months into it the cough has completely peeled off and is covered in ugly brown splotches. There is barely any "leather" left on it. This store is full of lies and scams. How can you tell a customer the cough is genuine leather when its a piece of garbage, and is covered in synthetic leather that peels off in months exposing a different color and peels in chunks. Please save your money and never buy here.

What a scam. If anything read the last paragraph in my review.
I bought a bedroom set here after being courted by an independent furniture store across the street for a similar set for a lot less. I wanted the best and went for the name brand and even bought the guardsmen warranty.
Well when my bed supports broke the first time I had them mail me the cheap balsa wood supports and installed them myself after jumping thru hoops and not wanting to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a repair man. Of course after a while they broke again as I knew they would. Now on my second claim its been 10 days since I received the email from guardsmen that they received my letter. Never mind the hoops they made me jump to get and send that letter in the first place. Yes a snail mail letter must be sent as well as emails. I am going to ask for a refund on the warranty and use it to buy plywood to build a proper base.
The point here is their furniture is built sub par as they acknowledge by stating "this is not heirloom furniture" so buy a warranty. If you buy a warranty they will make you jump through hoops to get it sorted out. Who wants to sleep on a broken bed while waiting? Ashley furniture itself has no customer service phone number. Good luck talking via email.
After you buy a piece of furniture here you are on your own, and if you have the warranty it is so difficult to claim you will give up or ask for you money back. Of course your refund is prorated so they rip you off anyway.
I also noticed their website states 4.3 stars on their ratings. Funny I could not leave any feedback there. Another scam to fool consumers because there is no way they could achieve this rating with real reviews.
