Great experience with MaryKate of Smudge Pudge. She was easy to communicate with leading up to our party, even when I had to change the date very last minute. She arrived on time to set up and brought everything with her she needed. The kids (2-3 year olds) loved her designs. Would definitely recommend her!

We hired MaryKate to paint faces at our four year old's birthday party. She is able to work with a wide range of designs (from flowers & unicorns to skulls and superheroes), and all of the face paintings turned out beautifully. Plus the kids LOVED it. MaryKate has my highest recommendation!

Hired MaryKate for a small outdoor birthday party for 4-year olds and was a big fan. The birthday girl was a combination of mermaid, butterfly and princess complete with jewels and feathers. She was able to make 'characters' which I liked. One of the parents got her face painted as well. A much needed boost after her full 'lockdown' birthday in 2020.

Five stars for Smudge Pudge! MaryKate was perfect. Right on time she lined up all her cool paints and tools and within an hour she had painted more than 8 kids! She did this very cool designs with the Octonauts as reference. I loved it and my kid (it was her 4th bday party) and her friends love it more :) If you need a face painter look no further! A beloved member of the Williamsburg community. She is a mama of two so she knows how to work with kids big and small. Her makeup skills reach beyond face painting since she used to do professional body art. Hire her for your next party, its a treat for all your guests.
