Flatbush Family Health Center at NYU Langone

I was not happy with my experience here. It’s not very family friendly. The treatment rooms are very small and I was asked to leave my eight year old because the room was so small. I did not comply as my child should not be left alone. My teen came and had to come back for a cleaning. He stated that cleaning was a few scrapings and they didn’t do a good job. No polish or anything. Doctors don’t really communicate with you. When you ask questions , patient and family are treated as if though they shouldn’t ask the question. My family and I will find a new dentist in another neighborhood. Picked as it was close to home and part of NYU. Does not meet my family’s expectations for providing high quality, professional service.

I came on the 7th with tooth pain and was told I had 3 cavities. I was then told I had to wait until the 28th to be seen. From the 7th to the 28th I had to eat on the opposite side of my mouth. On the 28th I went in and the main cavity was taken cared of .. The dentist who was working on it was remarkable. However, I'm assuming the main dentist, was trying to rush her because it was taking too long. I had more tooth decay then what was shown on the xray so there was an increase in sensitivity. The dentist who was working with me was incredible however I will NEVER return . The idea of making someone wait 21 days to be seen and then RUSHING them out is disgusting. I'm infuriated. I only had one cavity filled. I kept my COOL and walked out. I've Never in my life been so ANGRY. Setting another appointment with another dentist. I STRONGLY suggest that if you have dental issues you think twice about visiting them. The reviews are NOT lying and from the bottom of my heart I regret coming here.
