Unmatched in horrendous customer service (if one could even call it that). Do not order from this brand! Took months to receive my item only to discover it was not the item pictured on their site, no help from them and back orders on everything.

I only received 2 of 4 items ordered. I had two items on backorder, scheduled to ship 8/1/20. No notification of a delay from Garret Wade. So I called and was told it is now on backorder with a ship dat around the end of Aug 20. I cancelled since they can’t at least take the time to send a email with delay and why. Thank you for your reply, I took my purchasing elsewhere and have received confirmation of shipment. I have read on the review section the backorder notification update appears to be a recurring issue.

I have and cherish...and use!....some of my father's tools dating to the 1920s.....whenever I get your marvelous catalog and purchase something for my "crafty" great nephew, I smile, knowing the quality of the item I'm ordering for him will insure the same long-lived experience I've had. Plus, every order has arrived promptly...this most recent one in two days!....and exactly as advertised. Such a pleasure to deal with your company!

The best thing about Garret Wade is the catalog. Don't bother actually ordering, weeks of being backordered and changed ship dates with still no product. Save yourself the hassle and just look at the pretty pictures in the catalog.

Ordered a gift on that was on backorder till 12/12. Have not received a shipping update or any update, called the company on 12/14 - and was told that the item is now back ordered till 12/28?!?! No phone call, no email... people order gifts in December and they expect to get them by Christmas- not to mention the fact that their customer service person I spoke to was clueless...
