Friendly, but 17 plus dollars for a front brake adjustment. I mentioned I forgot my tool (hence going to the shop), I feel like that price should come with a warning. I woulda just bought an Allen wrench if I knew.

So I went to buy a kryptonite lock for my gas scooter. But they charge 230 which is twice the price of what it should cost. I get there a local bike shop but no way I'm I going to pay double.

I had to install a new BB, Crank, and pedals, as well as have my internal 3spd hub adjusted since it was jammed in one gear. I've been having bad luck at another nearby bike shop getting my bikes serviced - they never seemed to work right and I always had to come back. So I decided to get the work done here this time, and I'm so glad I did. My bike feels BRAND NEW. Everything works beautifully, and they even adjusted my cable actuated disc brakes and they work better than ever. This bike is a BikesDirect 29er Single Speed that I heavily modified the spec and made it a 3 speed city bomber. I can't wipe the grin off my face, my bike is more fun than ever. Thank you guys, you have a new dedicated customer, thank goodness you're only 2 blocks away.

I made a point of buying from them, twice, rather than online - and both times the parts are disappointing. Was I wrong to expect that my neighborhood bike pros would recommend the good stuff to me?

Really wonderful and knowledgeable staff.. always willing to help you find what works best for each individual customer who comes into the shop
