If you want to spend $150 for 2 cocktails (in water glasses), 5 small average-tasting plates, an average service, a 30 min-long experience, and leave hungry... you found your next spot!

Took my daughter here this evening for her birthday. We were looking forward to the meal as we had eaten in Olmstead, the sister restaurant, and enjoyed it very much. This restaurant is seriously disappointing. Some of the dishes were very good, for example the scallops and the salmon. The cocktails are excellent. The octopus skewers were tiny scraps of meat with what seemed like French's crispy onion in between. There was a nice sauce, but little to put it on. The much praised duck l'orange is a sausage. Maybe it is a duck sausage, but it could be anything. Again the sauce is nice. Since the portions are vanishingly small, we ordered the escargot to fill out the meal. This is served in a miniature classic escargot dish, but you would need a microscope and forceps to find the snails. Perhaps they are embryonic snails, or one rather runty snail cut into 6 pieces. Whatever it is, it it thoroughly smothered in panko/pesto breadcrumbs, which are tasty but probably cost about a dollar to produce. This dish could possibly be enjoyed by a person who hates snails. The final two disappointments: my daughter asked for a coffee. The waiter brought coffee that was stale and really revolting. I paid the substantial bill and as I was putting away my credit card, a woman whom I presume was a head waiter, came over to say hurry up they needed the table. I hope the next person seated at the teeny table had a better experience.

We ordered one of everything on the menu - it was all incredibly delicious and our servers Zack and Jade were so friendly, knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations!!! Food came out fast and was perfect for family style shared plates.
