Update: Alex called me and agreed that he was rude but not dishonest and I didn't understand and appreciate his efforts and help because my previous account did a lot of mistakes and he fixed all of them that's why he was acting like this and it was misunderstanding between us. Okay, May be he was right about my previous accountant but my previous accountant works for a huge company and has a lot of happy customers. Here is my revised review after we spoke on the phone today:I left my previous accountant because Alex was recommended by my friend and it was close to my new office. Alex has a bad attitude, during our short conversations he mentioned several times how good he is and that he-makes me a favor by doing my taxes because he works with much bigger businesses. He priced to do my personal and business taxes $1000(small company)which I was happy to pay(the same amount I paid to my previous accountant for several years). That year he forgot to do w-form (for my personal) which I had to do later when I figured that we missed this which is understandable, we all make mistakes). Next year he did exactly the same amount of paperwork but price went up from $1000 to $1550, after I questioned him why, he starred at me and said that it was a lot of extra work(extra work for 2020?! Lol, covid time, everything was slow). I left and called him an hour later to make it clear what kind of extra work he was talking about, he said I will refund you $550 but you should find another accountant. Such a waste of time...Final thoughts, rude, unprofessional, always rushing you(could not really ask questions, after you ask him anything he answers quickly and short and then and right after follows "is that's all?") This guy makes you feel that you owed him money. Would never recommend due his attitude and unpredictable charges.
