This hotel was quite expensive... I know it's NYC but damn this was not worth $138 the night... even though the room was spacious and the bed rather comfy noisy (and drunk) neighbours ruined my 2nd night there, talking and slamming doors all night long. Streets around are great if you enjoy slaloming between garbage. And the elevator smells of weed.

It's an ok hotel for short stays, as for me who is staying in NYC to train for my CDL. Price is very cheap for NYC. The room's aren't the cleanest or in the best condition but they get the job done. The furniture is old and worn. Rooms have a Soviet Union like vibe, fridge works and have a nice view of the South Bronx, but the bath was broken because the drain switch was missing. Short walk to the IRT and SBS, just be careful outside, not the safest
Rooms: They're small and archaic with a Soviet Union vibe but they get the job done, but a lot of things are broken
Safety: Be careful outside, bail reform and liberal voters has turned the South Bronx into a GTA 5 server
Walkability: Short walk to the IRT White Plains Rd line and local buses, and 24 hour shops outside
