I'm kind of baffled reading some of these reviews - Dr. Escriva is not only the best dentist I've ever witnessed, but a wonderful person. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable, explains everything he is doing so that you understand (which helps ease the nerves,) and overall you can tell he is passionate about what he does and it radiates. His office is fun, he plays music and TV per the patient's request and he keeps you entertained with his stories; he's a pleasure to be around and I love sitting in his chair. I've referred some friends & family members who are not fans of the dentist to him and they all LOVE him and have expressed to me that they wish I referred them sooner and that they will never go anywhere else. It makes me sad to think that he is reaching the age of retirement. Anyone who hates on Dr. Escriva is either unreasonably sensitive or may have just had a bad day is taking it out on his reviews. He is genuinely the best and anyone who is considering his services should absolutely give him a shot! You will NOT be disappointed!

Mid procedure the doctor stepped away and worked on another patient and then returned with the same gloves that had been in someone elses mouth, on top of this my teeth are still in pain months later. Hes not very professional and ultimately very rude and snarky with his comments, I will not be returning to his office and i recommended others do the same.

My daughter has been going to this dentist for 6+ years. She absolutely loved him and refused to go anywhere else, even after going to college in Florida and moving to 3 different states in the tri-state area. While home from school, she was scheduled for three fill-ins with the dentist. He informs her while in the chair, that he will only being doing 2 of the 3 fill-ins. She (semi) joked with him about being nervous about the fill-ins despite having done the procedure multiple times and having the utmost trust in him as a dentist. They get through the procedure, and as she's going to schedule her next visit for the other fill-in, he tells her that he was uncomfortable continuing to serve her as a dentist because she was "too anxious", "her anxiety was transferable" and he would no longer do her last fill-in or any fill-ins going forward. He condescendingly asked her if she had to take anxiety medication before coming to the dentist. But ironically enough, proceeded to say he had to leave the room multiple times during the procedure because he was "shaking" and otherwise anxious. My daughter was completely taken back by this, as she acted as she normally did in her 6+ years of getting a fill-in with him. She did not move, shake, or stop him at any point during the procedure. While she is distraught, I am happy that he showed his true colors so she can find a dentist that can navigate a patient that is averagely anxious about getting holes drilled into their mouth during a dental procedure. If you are an averagely anxious patient or have any range of dentist phobia, please be weary that this dentist may pick up your anxiousness and refuse to service you, no matter how long you've been a patient with him. If you are an emotionless human, and made of steel perhaps, you may be in luck!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Rude to his staff. Seen him belittle the staff on more than one occassion. Comes off as very arrogant and rude. He missed a very noticeable hole in my molar after 4 visits worth of work. Made an appointment for 5pm only to have them call me at 4:05 to cancel may appointment. I was annoyed after leaving work early and putting one of my kids on a school bus instead of picking them up so I can make the appointment in time.Over the phone he raised his voice and talked over me and didnt let me finish. Its very inconsiderate to cancel an appointment that late as most doctors would charge their clients for canceling within 24 hours let alone less than an hour before the appointment. Then to have the audacity as a so-called professional to raise your voice and argue with a client instead of listening to them. Its a problem when you try to say something, without raising your voice or being rude only to have the doctor that just wasted your time proceed to talk over you and raise his voice to the point of yelling. I would never go back and well go out of my way rather than going back to him. He also plays Fox News while youre sitting in his chair while some people may not want to view anything political while at the dentist office. He needs to keep that stuff to himself, noone cares about your political views. On top of all that, if your read the reviews on google, one of them is either him or a family member giving him 5 stars
