Cortese Restaurant

Wonderful mussels in lemon sauce. Good salad. All around good experience. They have outdoor seating in the good weather which will be nice.

Manicotti was hard as a rock and the red sauce was under cooked so it was extremely bitter. My daughters Alfredo had no cheese in it. It tasted like cream and noodles. She wouldnt eat it. The soup was tastey but it was suppose to be meat ball minestrone and there was no meat balls in it. Jist a bunch of chickpeas and beans. We did tell the waitress but she didnt say anything. The shrimp scampi was ok the shrimp was a little chewy. My family member did have the court on Bleu and he said it wasn't bad. The waitress was good. The place was very nice looking. So we were very excited at first but it was a disappointing meal for most of us.

Cortese's always please's. One of my favorite eateries by far. Filet mignon melts like butter as the garlic sizzles your palet the flavors tantalizing your taste buds . Perfection, consistently delicious. The eight slice pizza pie I salivate, the cheese, the sauce, the fresh herbs , ....decedent Family recipes those delicious secrets are in every mouth watering bite ...party of the palet indeed Vegetarian options: Delicious choices Parking: Plenty of parking, Kid-friendliness: Family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: No restrictions

So sad to have to write this. I have gone here for years and years with my family and what we experienced tonight was awful. I fear for our safety in the food we received. The worse besides the food quality was the manager tonight was rude, unresponsive and cold. Half of my party ordered the clam linguine, white sauce. See photo for what they all received. Water, no flavor and questionable meat. I ordered the filet and felt so robbed. It was sitting under the heat lamp for some time. My plate hot, the inside of my steak cold, with a side of one canned peach and a piece of toast for $30 something. Glasses were contaminated with old lipstick and a dirty table. I have always, always enjoyed this place... what has happened?! To have a manager on duty who rolls his eyes to actual serious issues with our food and storms off, no apologies no skills as a manager it was a joke. He made sure we would never return. You lost loyal customers+ family they would bring. I have to say our waitress was a gem, brought candles for our desserts since we were still starving to help us feel at peace celebrating March birthdays. Still with her genuine assistance we won't return based on whoever that manager was tonight. Didn't even introduce himself or want to right any wrong and hygiene of the restaurant was so concerning. I felt that we were at a chain restaurant that could care less.
