Optum Lab Draw Station - Bethpage

I walked in at 1:00 with a few people already waiting. The person behind the counter said Im taking lunch at 1:15 if I dont get to you youll have to come back. I understand procedure but she needs a lesson in manners and how to speak to people. I didnt want to be there either but she made it so uncomfortable I left.

I had a biopsy there and the staff was very helpful and professional and the doctor was amazing made the whole procedure easy

Great lab! I am an RRT in acute care and very picky about my blood draws and cultures. The blood tech was super fast, gentle & accurate. She also fully explained cultures I needed and how to obtain the at home ones. Lab was empty at 11am! I highly recommend.

I was there with my one year old keep in mind this is my first baby and the first time we have to draw blood so I wasnt sure how to hold the baby the proper way. There were 2 working there the younger female was so nice and patient she explained everything the other person wasnt explaining properly. However the other female she was older darker skin complexion was so rude she was bothered about everything she kept making comments like your moving the baby, or you are already doing everything wrong and the baby is kicking me. There was so much more she said. I was so upset because these people work with children and shouldnt be. The same lady answered the phone when I called that morning to ask about walk ins and she just doesnt have any manners. She would be a great fit at the DMV with that attitude she has . I am gonna say it was quick and the place is really clean. The younger person that was there is such a sweetheart if it wasnt for the other older lady I would have given 5 stars .
