We had prepaid to have my daughter's senior ball pics taken. They were supposed to be delivered to the Amsterdam high school when ready yet we never received a written announcement or a call (despite leaving 2 phone #'s for contact purposes) that they were ready for pick-up. I contacted the studio through phone calls and also the yearbook adviser at that time (2012 graduation). How we discovered that they had been delivered AND distributed the PREVIOUS week was through my daughter's friend. My own daughter had been out sick on the day they were handed out, so you would think that her prepaid pictures would have been sitting up at the school office, yet mysteriously, no one could find them. The photographer said that he had delivered them, but for reasons I will not get into, I have serious doubts. They would have been there, at the high school, with the rest of the delivered product. A promise from the yearbook adviser to put them in the mail when found never materialized, either. Nor an explanation as to what steps were needed to be taken going forward. I mean, how many times do I have to request an answer to my phone calls? Needless to say, two years later, and our prepaid pictures never made it to us. I guess the photographer just pocketed the money because not only did I never receive the pictures, but neither did I receive a refund.
