This has been the most painful medical experience I have ever had. I came for an exam for surgical experience. I have done this in the past at another location for another procedure I had. It took 15 minutes in and out last time. Today I am sitting here going on 2 hours and have not yet been seen! 2 HOURS! For what will likely take 5 minutes. I will say the front desk was helpful. But their inability to prioritize appointments is intolerable. I will never use this location for any medical needs again.

I was surprised to see the bad reviews for Dr. Biegun (not sure if thats right). i saw him only twice in 2012 and 2020 I thought he was alright. I have been going there since 1997 and I don't have any complaints

The receptionist are very rude and disrespectful. I was talking to them about having my prescription refilled and just hang up the phone on me.

This is the most pathetic excuse for an Urgent Care if I have ever seen one. I work in this same plaza as this place and several of my coworkers have come here only to be turned away or denied their health issues. Doctor Piotr is a rude and condescending individual with an ego the size of Texas. I went in for a mouth infection, the women at the front desk were very kind. Although the nurse seemed more interested in asking me questions about the sales and coupons at my job rather than asking me why I was there. Nobody even explained who was going to be treating me that day. Doctor Piotr denies all of my concerns which was a specific mouth infection. He barely even looks at my mouth and decides he knows what I am dealing with. He even makes a disgusting remark saying I have a callous on my tongue, and that if he gave me a shovel and I shoveled for hours I'd have callous on my hands. To me it seems like hes suggesting i may be "working with my mouth". And he then takes off his glasses and asks where I got my medical experience from, I told him to stop talking to me like I'm a lower life form. He then calls the police on me because I was not leaving without the information I gave them when I arrived. I don't know what he expected Colonie Police to do. But now I see I've made a mistake because it seems like everyone who comes into Newton Medical gets turned away or treated like garbage. I'll be making a formal complaint through the state and the Better Business Bureau. Considering the once nice ladies at the desk refused me because they'd rather put their heads down. This isn't a fight at McDonald's over a cheeseburger. Yall are playing with peoples health because they think their ego is more important. Dr. Piotr Biegun has no professional bedside manner. He's too worried about being smarter than his patients. And from what I've seen on other reviews, they grossly misdiagnose patients daily.

The receptionists, nurse and PA were all phenomenal. I didnt fell rushed and am happy to be able to establish a primary with them. I have have called so many places and they are so booked out or dont call you back. I felt like they did an amazing job at addressing my concerns and I didnt feel judged. They were compassionate and thorough. Im looking forward to a healthier me:)
