This place has great food and better prices. Just make sure you ask for everything to be extra spicy, because they tend to tone it down for a mild upstate customer base.

Food is amazing, inexpensive, and spot on to what you'd get at a great place in Thailand.

I absolutely love thai food, and would (and did) go here with some frequency. However my regular trips here petered off because I found they could never make their dishes consistently good. Sometimes it is really good- their red curry can be awesome, their massoman delicious. I just feel ripped off whenever I dig in to a dish, remembering how great it was last time, only to realize that there's too much fish oil. Or the peanut sauce is thin. Or the pad thai is lacking it's kick. I get the feeling that someone has foregone using the recipe for eyeballing, and they aren't doing the best job at it. So please, Sukothai cooks, stick to your recipes because it's frankly embarrassing to bring someone over only to find that their food is less delicious than it should be.

Came here to celebrate one of my friends birthday because birthday girl wanted to have Thai cuisine. While there is another location located on Lark St., this one had a bigger atmosphere, more space to accompany more people, which was good, since we had a party of eight. I had the glazed pork chop over rice, which came with miso soup (odd how this was served in a Thai place), and it was super yummy, especially the honey-glazed pork chops. The portions were huge, so that made me happy! The price was affordable and was pretty worth it. For some reason, I liked this place more than I liked the other one, but either way, both locations served some delicious Thai food.
