Rooms are dirty, the parking light has almost ever light out so it is very dark. No trash cans outside so there is trash all over the grounds. There is a foul odor . It just feels filthy. I will not stay here again.

Due to what I believe are staffing issues this hotel will fall off my list of places to stay while in Albany. The front desk clerk showed no ability to help anyone.. Stay away from this property..

Maybe I'm rating them higher than they deserved. Room 131... Roaches, which I'll get to later. Had only about a little less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper with no spare. Went down to front desk for more (just in case), and was informed that they had no more toilet paper in the hotel. I asked if they could possibly get some from an unoccupied room. I also asked for batteries for the dead tv remote, and an additional comforter for the bed as the one in the room was paper thin. 10 minutes later the desk clerk located some batteries after making some phone calls, and she got me an opened roll of TP from another room. 20 minutes later the guy who went down to get me the comforter came back up to the lobby to give it to me. I thought I saw a bug on the floor when I first entered, but wasn't sure. We went out to get some dinner, and when we returned I saw some sort of beetle on the floor which I killed. We went to bed and a short time later I needed to get a drink and using a flashlight so as not to wake my wife I walked into the kitchen area only to find about a dozen roaches scurrying across the floor to find shelter under the stove. Front desk said it's the first occurrence of roaches in the place. I highly doubt it. We checked out and found lodging elsewhere. This was our second time staying there. No bugs the first time, but lots of broken or damaged furniture and black mold in the first room. This time there was also a circle about a foot in diameter of black mold on the ceiling above the shower. We won't even consider staying there again. We should have learned from our first stay there! I've included some images of what we encountered. The larger roaches were about an inch long and too fast to step on.

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had! I thought that staying at a CrestHill that was near the university would be a good idea, because I was in Albany for work. I was given room 305 initially. There were no plates or utensils. I opened the dishwasher and everything in it was covered in mold! I raised the issue with management, which initially told me "we don't service rooms during stay overs" (my booking was for 2 days). Later in the day, the manager (I was led to believe) apologized and moved me to another room, Room 316. Needless to say I was surprised when I discovered that the dishwasher in that room was full of DIRTY dishes! Between these two incidents, I observed very dirty cabinet interiors. Clearly cleanliness is NOT a priority at this hotel, conditions are unsanitary and the health department should inspect this property, as its poses a danger to public health and safety. Additionally, there were no sheets on beds, only a very light quilt, which was definitely not sufficient as temperatures had dropped into the upper 30s and 40s and the heating system did not work properly. Of course I had to sleep in my clothes, as I was afraid the bed and quilt were dirty also (the quilt was stained), so that helped a little with the cold. I raised my concerns again with management after I checked out, this time in writing, and I never heard back.
