Dr Johanning is an EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN, able to diagnose the toxins a person has been exposed to in or out of the workplace!! He diagnosed me with toxic black mold illness, & while there's NOTHING that can make me well, at least I have the answers and NOW THAT PROOF OF WHY IM VERY ILL. Thank you Dr Johanning & God bless you!!!!

This review is from my experience 2013. Maybe I can save someone else from wasting their money.
Having been exposed to mold, I was recommended to see the doctor in his Manhattan office. I patiently waited 2 months (and 2 hours before my appointment!), saving most of what I had to receive absolutely no recommendations of treatment. I did not have the money to receive all of the tests he recommended, but he should have at least had dietary recommendations which are very important when treating fungal exposure. Instead, he had the nerve to tell me to call his secretary to get that info! Are you kidding? $600 and you didn't even bring that information with you? And then he cut my session short by 15 because he had to catch his train. The only positive thing I can say is that he said he believed me (in regards to my symptoms), but that did not make up for the hopelessness I felt when I left the office. I honestly felt he should have charged me $200. I don't care how educated you are. Taking $600 cash from someone who you could not help and cut short on time is unethical.

Oh really? You take reviews seriously, huh? That's funny cause it took you many months to look at your office overview on Google. Now that I chose to edit this post I can't find the original date I wrote my review, but it's been up for at least a year.
It's also quite amusing because I didn't have insurance at the time and told you that. The doctor wanted me to get $2000 worth of blood work and I told him I couldn't afford it. Still, he did not offer me a sliding scale. He straight up said he couldn't help me without bloodwork. I find it quite pathetic that he knew nothing about nutrition. Even letting me know back then that lowering carbohydrates would help me feel better would have been valuable information. Yes, I was also looking for legal help, but my main priority was getting my health back.
I'm not going to call your office because you are obviously not going to give me my money back, and I don't need to post my identity on here. I wouldn't waste my time writing all this if it weren't true.

Dr. Johanning took his time and put the effort in to fully understand my unique situation and medical condition , he stays up to date with every aspect of my case . His Office staff is absolutely "Top Notch" . I wish more Doctors actually took the time and effort that Dr. Johanning does. ******
