I can't say enough about the compassionate, caring people at Simple Choices. Our loss happened late on a Sunday night and Roy with his helper, were at our home within the hour. Roy then left us in the capable hands of Nicholas, who was so very helpful with his guidance, kindness and direction. I would recommend Simple Choices to anyone in need of cremation services.

Nicholas and his team provide excellent service at a great price. I live out of state, was handling a family members services and was able to digitally sign the needed docs. The forms and process were simple, easy to understand and Nicholas was very accommodating including answering multiple questions and mailing death certs to me. Highly recommend this caring team, especially for simple creations!

I can't say enough about Nicholas and his kindness and professionalism. My needs were different from most. I needed ashes transferred from the metal containers that they had been in to TSA approved boxes that I could carry on board a plane. Nick made that process so easy to deal with, and so quickly. He did the transfer and we reviewed all the paperwork that I would need to present at the airport. So now I am ready with everything I need for the trip as well as for the cemetery where the ashes will be interred. I am so very grateful for Nick and all his help. When I return from my trip, I will be contacting Nick again to help me with pre-planning for my own final needs.

I used Simple Choices Cremation Services when one of my relatives died recently. They were my first and only call. My honest opinion, Id give my highest recommendation to this local pioneer. Theyre reasonably priced, theyre efficient, and they do everything with great care. Thats literally ALL that you could ask for in a time like this. It was my first time dealing with a funeral home or cremation service. Setting out, there were three basic things that I hoped for: compassion, tact and efficiency. Roy and Nick at Simple Choices Cremation Services literally went above and beyond, making sure to listen carefully and compassionately, then offered their sincerest sympathies and condolences at my recent loss. Roy offered a broad range of affordable and attractive options for urns. Best of all, he immediately and expediently followed my wishes for my parents cremation to the letter, without fuss or delay. He was easy to work with, was trustworthy, compassionate and patient - a true credit to his long-time profession. Nick was amazing as well, such a professional. Their comfy location in Troy is right across the street from the river, so it had had a nice view. From start to finish from this tragic end, they both made the experience more than bearable, which is so much appreciated at this time. Just my opinion, but I think that they set the bar high as an example for other competitors to follow.
