Eske's Brew Pub and Eatery

A real shame to hear eske’s is closed. I haven’t been to Taos in years, but I always stopped in here when I did. Green chili beer to knock your socks off and burritos to match. Here’s to hoping the closure is only temporary.

Legendary place with legendary food. I once drove through a stormy night on winding roads from Colorado Springs to Taos just to get a Fatty (a burrito with olives, turkey, feta, and all types of other stuff--slathered in green chili sauce). It was worth the drive. From what I remember they also had quite the selection of brews, many of them more obscure and quite tasty after a day out in the heat. So, order a flight and a fatty. You won't regret it.

The beer at Eske's is alright. I like the flavor of the Scottish Stout, but its lacking in body. The food is tasty, the staff friendly and personable.
