Santa Fe Family Health Center

This is one of the worst Urgent Care facilities I have ever been to. Took my mother on a Saturday afternoon, only one doctor in the office, was told 1 hour and a half to two hour wait, waited 2 hrs. 45 min. in the waiting room and got so damn frustrated that we left and my mother never got seen. This is the most uncompetent, unprofessional place. You would think they would have at least two doctors on a busy Saturday to tend to patients. A person could get sick sitting there with all the sick people your around for hours. I will never return to this place!

Horrid! Their website (and when you call) advertises open till 10:pm so I drove 40 miles to bring my four year old in. At 9:25 they simply announced "Sorry. We are done for today". When I tried to explain that we had driven all that way, based on their hours, they couldn't care less and showed no sympathy. Who closes a medical clinic during regular business hours?? When I asked for the receptionist's name to report her snotty attitude to management she refused to give it to me "I don't have to tell you anything sir!" Unbelievable. Skip them entirely. If you must, just go to the ER.

Just like Shane said, I got there at 8:50 pm on Saturday June 13, and was told that they were no longer seeing patients. By that time, it was too late to go an where else except the ER. The receptionist said she was sorry, but sure didn't seem the least bit sorry. I recently stopped going there for my regular medical care - every time I went in, my PCP or PA had left and I had to get a new one .

I really wish I didn't have to give even one star in this review. This is the absolute WORST doctor's/urgent care offices I have been to. A few years ago it was okay and the wait time wasn't that bad. But now you can practically die of old age waiting just to go to an exam room. I took my son to be seen on a Sunday, 5/17/15 because his ear drum ruptured. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour. I asked the lady up front how much longer it would be and she said we were next on the board. We waited approximately 10-15 more minutes after that before going into an exam room where we waited for about a 1/2 hour before the one doctor on duty came into the room. Then we were there for at least another hour because a few procedures he needed done. I really don't understand why people in Santa Fe put up with this. I've been reading reviews on other places that are just as bad as these ones. The people of Santa Fe need to start contacting corporate offices of these places because nothing will change until they start getting a lot of complaints. I emailed Atrinea corporate to complain and I urge others to do the same.
