    I called to do a 1 way return and was told no problem. I couldn't find the store because I'm from out of state. We stopped at a car dealers, he told us where they were and called them for us. He asked if they took 1 ways and they said yes ( on speaker) and then said NO they closed. I, along with my sister who followed me so I could get back to our parents house, drove 2 hours to get there. We had to drive another 2 hours back home after sitting on the side of the road for over an hour on the phone trying to figure out what to do. (5 hour round trip) We'd spent another hour on the phone at home, before Hertz finally sent me to roadside service so they could pick up the car since there are NO open stites within 2-3 hours the other direction. I'm in another state taking care of my parents home and them as they both had to be put into hospice. First my dad before my arrival, then my mom when I got here and she coded on me here at her home! I have limited time with them and I didn't expect to lose both at once. I have a husband, kids and grandkids sacraficing for me to stay here until the end. I tried to return the car early since they aren't open on weekends, had it towed as the main Hertz people said they would do since I couldn't find a local store, the car was picked up within an hour and towed with no issue. Then I get called and told I'm late in returning it and will be penalized! have always used Hertz when I came here, NEVER AGAIN! I've been charged extra for 1 way, towing and twice as much in this state then Kansas. I have already paid over $1300 for the first 28 days, now they want close to $2500 for the last 23 days! To say I am beyond ticked off is an understatement! If you look them up as I did on my phone once again this morning, you will find Raton stills says OPEN! I am being over charged, over stressed and I am overly dissatisfied !
