Nicely done! But so sad that it had to come about. This is a Memorial for the victims killed by drunk drivers on New Mexico roads. Adults and children. Lives taken from loved ones. I live in Oklahoma and see Crosses and markers on the sides of the roads. Inattentive driving, texting, driving too fast, animal crossings and DWI and DUI. But, I was amazed to see the extremely large amounts of markers. And several close together and the city streets. Slow down. DON'T DRINK and DRIVE, PERIOD! Have a designated driver. If you have an alcohol or other drug problem, get Help! Help is there! Don't take a life that hasn't lived to it's full potential. To grow up and grow old. Please donate to this worthy cause! It is a nonprofit organization.

The visitor's center was closed when we were there. The surrounding area was well maintained. A peaceful place.
