It has been a while since I went to Visit Pow Wow. I thought Jim was a very nice man who always treated me like a friend. Veronica was also awesome. Not sure who these other two haters are, but if you want quality jewelry for a great price check them out!

Wouldn't even give this store 1 star but I had to. Went to there store today looking for a cross necklace my wife wanted. It had pink stone's in it. I will say that the lady that helped me was very nice. After we got done talking and she let me know that they didn't have what I was looking for I looked around a little more. The manager was in another room and must have thought I left and she yelled out "who the hell would want a pink cross" I found that very rude and unprofessional. The lady that was helping me apologized but when the manager walked out and saw me still standing there she just turned around and walked away with out a word. Needless to say I left without buying anything and will not be going back.

Looked like a nice place. I am from Maine walking around Gallup, while staying with a friend there, eventually on my way to California. I thought it looked like a nice place and had plenty of money in my pocket. I had a back pack on. When I went in the woman behind the counter immediately asked me where I was from. I told her. She asked how I was traveling. I told her mostly hiking but also trains and buses. I asked here about the jewelry. She would not answer my questions. And then she told me they they didn't allow "walkers" to view the jewelry and that I'd have to leave. I was deeply insulted by this and felt discriminated against. She was dismissive and LITERALLY held her nose in the air. The rules for Indians in the area is that they are not allowed to "loiter" around places, nor buy alcohol if they don't drive, etc, because of the problems the town has had with drunkenness and (apparently) theft. She was an Indian herself! and I was NOT! She made a bad call, lost a sale, and deeply offended a tourist visiting her town. There was NO ONE else in the store, so they probably could have used the sale. When I asked her more about her problem with me, she just said (essentially), "We are too expensive for you." Advice: ***Boycott this store and its ignorant manager.*** There are probably other places that would be very friendly and understanding to a visitor walking around town.
