The family and I (total of 8) rented the slide boat. We had a great and rewarding experience. This was our first time and the staff was ready to help. The thing with the propeller is that they walk you through a checklist of sorts, and you have to pick up on the condition of the propeller. If the party before you damaged it, let it be known. We were allowed to take pictures of the previously rented boat and propeller, noted the damage to the propeller, and were sent on our way with no issues. Thank you to the staff. We additionally paid, because of our choosing, $40 for a 2 person tube and $15 for gas used.

BEWARE!!! DON'T FALL FOR THE SCAM If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I should have read the reviews before I rented a boat from this company. They hit people with a propeller fee of $150. No pictures are taken before you leave the dock, and pictures are NOT taken when you return the boat. My family and I had left the marina after leaving our excursion and when I received the receipt via email, I saw the $150 charge added to my receipt. When I called the marina, I spoke with an extremely rude older gentleman (assuming the owner), who proceeded to tell me that he couldn't provide me pictures because the boat had already been rented out AGAIN! If a customer had actually caused damage to a piece of equipment, wouldn't the manager come out and at least show the customer? I had only left 10 minutes before! How a propeller could be changed that fast and how someone could have left the boat that fast is FANTASTIC! I would have gladly paid a higher price per hour, rather than being hit with a bogus charge at the end of the day. I will never patron this business again and I will NEVER recommend them to my friends and co-workers. It's pretty sad that a small business such as this would have to SCAM people out of money in order to make up for their bottom line. Sounds a bit fishy (no pun)! If you do decide to use this establishment please take before and after pictures. I'm sure the business will respond with some sort of smart answer instead of taking ownership. So sad...

This was our first time renting from this Marina. First, we didn’t get the proper safety training from the instructor before leaving the marina. Luckily we were already educated on the use of the safety flags when dragging a tube. Second, we showed up early for paperwork and instructions and they still took longer than 30 min which they counted against the renting time of 3 hours so we really only got 2.5 hours of riding time. Lastly, when we arrived back at the marina they “misplaced” our paperwork and as we waited patiently we were advised from the front desk person that we could go ahead and leave. She stated that they would calculate gas charges and use our card on file so we could go home. Later we find a charge of $187 on our card. They stated that there was damage to the propeller. We asked for our paperwork along with pictures of the propeller. After speaking with management he confused us with another party but then after correcting himself still advised that the boat with the damage was our boat. We asked for proof of the boat we were on, they didn’t provide it. The pictures they sent us didn’t show a boat number or time stamp. Will never rent from these crooks again. Highly recommend NOT to rent from Marina Del Sur.

We enjoyed our boat rent experience out in the lake. We were stopped by Marina Police for not having life vest for the people ridding the tow behind disk, but just issued us a warning. The Owners Son did an good job at explaining most of details of the boat safety rules, I hope they will also include the one about adults having to wear the life vest while riding on the Tow Behind Disk just to avoid the hassle, although it is printed on the contract to wear it. Other than that, the long orientation given by the Sons owner covered everything else on the contract and was well worth the time. Also, it would be nice just to mention that the Bluetooth radio has an auxiliary power switch for it to work, after an hour in the lake I started playing with all the switches and noticed the power come on. After returning the boat and paying for fuel the cashier wanted to charge me again for the tow behind disc. After showing my paid receipt it was cleared up. I was thankful for not getting my recipes wet so you might want to take a zip-lock. Overall, the attitude of the staff was friendly, the boat appearance/performance was excellent and we had a great time and memorable experience.
