The food, atmosphere and service were excellent!!!  We were impressed by the friendly, fast, courteous service, as well as the live music and amazingly-authentic Creole food.  This was our second time dining there and we will definitely be returning (often) ...

A little slice of NOLA. Love us some southern food! The owner is wonderful, genuine, and knowledgeable. She remembered us when we came back 4 months later. You feel like you stepped back into New Orleans walking in here with the art, Mardi gras beads, and delicious smells! The crab au gratin and shrimp and grits are the two best things on the menu! My husband thinks the lamb is the best! The crab au gratin is heavenly, I'd love it if they made it a main course. The salad dressing is probably the best I've ever tried! The shrimp and grits are so flavorful! I also got the blackened catfish and crawfish etoufee which anything blackened, in my opinion, makes it that much better! I would say switching up the gumbo recipe would be great... Gumbo isn't a tomato based dish, at least it wasn't in New Orleans. It's more of a brown roux. Other than that, the environment, the staff, and the food are all wonderful! We've taken two different groups and plan to take more!

I used to work there a couple of months ago and the reason why good took so long an the restaurant is because the chefs would go outside and take 45-1hr smoke breaks when there was a full house and a lot of orders and I couldnt do anything because I was just a dishwasher and the chefs were very rude to costumers, waiters and the owners the fish was left on the table in the kitchen for hours and sometime the fish would be there when close and they would just put it back and serve it the next day the and the restaurant was portly maintained in the kitchen and the kitchen would flood at least once a week and the owners did nothing to fix it and the food was super overpriced and they half portioned everything to save money so I would definitely not recommend going to this restaurant unless your looking for bad service, cold and sometimes undercooked food, long wait times and super overpriced drinks
