Had a blast. We were treated with such courticy . Ken, Casey, Steve and the new crew member were a blast. They told us all about the terrain, history of Taos Valley, and a colorful history of ballooning. Thank you for taking care of us on such a short notice and being so welcoming. We learned about slash and dash and even became certified in BCT.

Fantastic!!! We loved this balloon tour so much! Ken Eske, our pilot, was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We learned a lot about the hot air ballooning and even got to pull the burners ourselves. We were able to drop into the gorge and splash in the river which was so cool! After about an hour of flight, we landed very safely, packed up, and had a mimosa brunch along the Rio Grande River in the gorge. Ken & Casey were phenomenal! They made the trip fun and safe and I could not have asked for a better first balloon ride! Will definitely be returning soon! :)

We went for a balloon ride with Ken 2 years ago on October 6,2016 for Sonja’s birthday; It was quiet windy that morning but Ken decided to launch anyway ; the ride was beautiful until we wanted to land and drifted beyond the safe areas and had to land anyway ; the landing was a near disaster and could have ended badly especially for Sonja who was trapped at the bottom of the basket ; fortunately only boots and cloth got ripped and only a few scratches with bandages. We sent Ken a letter with a few suggestions like not launching if it’s too breeze and supplying better gear (tough pants ,jackets & boots)for the ride but never heard back. Do not believe that hot air ballooning is always safe .
