Andalucia is a very attractive community in Albuquerque's Northwest. A staunchly middle- to upper-middle class neighborhood, Andalucia sits lower than Coors Bypass, which helps a little bit with the sound, and it has a nice, calm feeling to it. You can see the Sandia mountains and the Bosque is a few minutes away. Houses are built by Pulte so they are quality constructions, and there's a nice mix of flat roof as well non-flat roof elevations so the community seems simultaneously modern and traditional. Andalucia residents will enjoy close proximity to food (Dion's, Jinja, Chipotle, Thai Boran, Starbucks, Baskin-Robbins, etc.) and entertainment (Flix Brewhouse), as well as being minutes from the freeway. Costco isn't far but if 12 minutes is too much, an Albertson's is two minutes away. Schools are close (St. Pius X, Bosque) and two new large shopping centers are being built nearby so more great businesses are soon to come (I know Blake's is coming as is another Starbucks with a drive-thru). Andalucia is one of Albuquerque's hidden gems. The only negative thing I have to say is that homes are just about sold out now so congrats to the ones who were fortunate enough to buy here!
