if you want to go to a real bar, as in, a place to talk with friends and drink good beer, then this will suit your needs. very mellow atmosphere and decent tap selection without the retarded music amped up to 11. plus a back patio.

Don't go here the bartender is so rude I literally just walked in and walked out, because I walk in me and my husband who have probably had two beers in the past four hours, so we're not even buzzing, he kicked us out because we were asking if they had some specific NM beers, after asking for like three different ones he says he's not serving us tonight. Wtf.

So it's 1:21 and we're being asked to finish our drinks. A little unexpected considering they close at 2, seemed kinda rude. Waitresses were good, drinks good, just not the friendliest environment.

Terrible service, unclean, and poor food. If "Hip" means being ignored by waitstaff and pretentious attitude when you asked to be served, then by all means enjoy this "Hip" spot. I thought they may have been having a bad night, and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. So I went again this past week with some friends. Worst mistake on my part. Not only was it just as bad as before, it was worse. Again the service was terrible. When the food I ordered finally came, it tasted like it had just been microwaved. I'd advise you to save yourself the time and money, and go somewhere else.
